So how does it work?

To be effective coaching requires commitment to the process from both sides, so first of all you, your team or your company have to be serious about taking action to achieve your desired outcomes.

Professionals



Try this self assessment to see if you are ready for coaching.

Either your company has offered you coaching to support your professional development or you are asking your company to provide coaching. Either way it is always recommended to have a trial session first so you can get a taste of coaching for yourself and also to see if you have a good connection with the coach. It is most important that you feel comfortable enough with the coach to open up and be completely honest in order to get the most out of this experience. Confidentiality is one of the cornerstones of coaching so you can be assured that your personal and professional issues will remain exclusively between us.

Coaching can be conducted face-to-face if you live in Beijing, or by phone or Skype if you live anywhere else. All methods are equally effective.

A minimum of 6 and maximum of 12 sessions are available per block, talking once a week or once every 2 weeks. In order to effect a major change or shift in thinking it is recommended to take 12 sessions.

Teams



Free Consultation is provided to assess team needs and desired outcomes. It is also important that the team understands how team coaching will work and for them to be willing participants. So an introduction to team coaching will be provided during the consultation. A team coaching programme can then be designed to meet the needs of your team.

This will usually involve 6 to 12 one hour sessions, meeting once every week or two weeks.

Team coaching follows group coaching methodology where a trusting space is created through the development of group agreements upfront. Team issues will be explored and the Aspire coaching model will be applied to achieve desired outcomes. Confidentiality is one of the cornerstones of coaching so you can be assured that your team's issues will remain exclusively between us.

Companies



Free consultation is provided to assess company needs and desired outcomes. One-on-one interviews with key members of the management team may be recommended to provide a complete needs assessment.

A coaching programme is then designed to meet the specific needs of your company. Programmes can run for 3 to 6 months depending on the mix selected.

As mentioned above this usually involves a combination or group coaching and one-on-one coaching for key managers. Coaching training can also be provided for managers to help develop a coaching mentality within the organisation and support the professional development of all. Training can also be tailored to meet the needs of the company.
